METHOD

1.

Using a processor, blend the avocado flesh, the lemon juice, and chickpeas until you have a smooth paste.

Meanwhile, place the kale in a steamer and steam for 1-2 minutes until just wilted.

3.

Once the kale has begun to wilt, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool slightly. Drain and squeeze the kale with your hand or the back of a spoon to remove any excess liquid.

4.

Transfer the kale to the avocado and chickpea mix and blend all the ingredients together for a few seconds to combine thoroughly before transferring it to a bowl.

5.

Serve as a snack with veggie sticks.
