Fresh Fruit and Quinoa Porridge
- 1 cup quinoa
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- Raw honey, to taste
- 1/2 cup rice milk or casein-free milk of your choice
- Fresh fruit of choice, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tablespoon chopped nuts, to garnish
- Coconut flakes, to garnish (optional)

Rinse the quinoa thoroughly with cold water, until the water draining off of it runs clear.
Place the quinoa in a medium pot with the water and salt, and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook the quinoa for a further 15-20 minutes, uncovered, until the water is absorbed and the quinoa is tender.
Serve the quinoa into bowls, mix through with your chosen milk, and your preferred sweetener, top with fresh fruit, coconut flakes (optional) and nuts. Enjoy.
