Amy Thompson is an experienced accredited practicing dietitian with a speciality in infant, child and adolescent nutrition. As a fully qualified APD and registered member of the Dietitian's Association of Australia (DAA), Amy is able to provide nutrition advice for a wide variety of clinical issues on an individual basis. Furthermore, she has the skills to help educate, support and guide her clients and their families to meet their health goals.
Amy completed her speciality training through both the Royal Children's Hospital, Brisbane and Melbourne after completing a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics degree.
Throughout her career Amy has gained experience in acute and chronic paediatric care and has experience working across private practice, community health, tertiary and regional centres.
Through her training and employment Amy has developed an excellent knowledge base which allows her to manage a wide range of paediatric nutritional issues.
Amy is passionate about educating families and providing them with the appropriate amount of support to make healthy dietary changes. She has a practical way of thinking and it is this that ensures her clients achieve optimal outcomes. She is warm hearted and kind natured and it is these two qualities that enable her to work well with her paediatric clientele.
