Dionne is a Naturopath and Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner with a passion for educating and empowering others when it comes to their health. She uses naturopathy, a form of body work called Jin Shin Jyutsu and education to help women fully gain control of their health. http://dionneshalit.com
Dionne had quite a difficult time in her teenage years adjusting to all the physical and emotional changes occurring with hormones and with the stress of school. She was taken to see a Naturopath who changed her perception of life and helped her immensely with all her stresses and with the hormonal complaints. This then inspired her to study Naturopathy and help change the lives of others.
Dionne started her studies with a Bachelor of Science at Monash University majoring in Psychology and Physiology as the human mind and mental health has always proven fascinating to her. She then went on to study a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) at Endeavour College to combine her love of food and health. During this time Dionne was also studying an ancient Japanese art called Jin Shin Jyutsu which is a form of body work that helps release blockages in the body that cause many diseases.
Since graduating from Naturopathy Dionne has been passionate about empowering people to take control of their health and wellbeing by sharing her knowledge. She has worked with many individuals going through both physical and emotional issues, supporting them to feel more confident and get on track to a bright future.
One of Dionne’s passions is helping people reduce their levels of stress and anxiety. Dionne offers relaxation techniques, dietary changes; herbal medicine and flower essences all to help reduce stress and increase a state of calm.
Dionne sees Naturopathy like peeling an onion. There are so many layers of each person to uncover before you can get to the core of the issue. All the layers must be taken into account but ultimately it is the cause of the problem that must be addressed in order to create permanent change in your health. In her consultations she looks at each person as a unique individual and aims to create a naturopathic treatment plan specific for that person.
This addresses whatever physical issue you are experiencing at the time and then she teaches you about making healthy lifestyle choices, managing stress and anxiety and coping with all the pressures life throws us. These tools can then be employed in all aspects of life. It sets people up for the best opportunity possible to have a happy, healthy and successful future.
